I'm not home and able to test yet, but you could optionally create a symlink dir on your SSD C drive (pointing to another drive).
Halo CE, and 99% of all applications I have tested on, aren't bothered by symlinks. A word of warning though, the drive with symlink (e.g. C) will still be queried for the path whenever data is accessed, so in essence you are pinging both drives.
